Express or Regular Post Shipping within Australian and NZ is available via Australia Post.

International Shipping is currently available to select locations including the UK, Europe and parts of Asia. Please contact us if your shipping location is not displayed upon checkout at info@francastudio.com.au.

All of our lights are made to order in Brisbane, Australia. Once your order is ready, shipping to the US via Australia Post generally takes 6–10 business days for standard international delivery, and 4–8 business days for express shipping.

Please note that these timeframes are estimates and may vary slightly depending on your location and any customs processing delays.

Will I have to pay import duties or taxes?
Orders shipped internationally may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs fees. These charges, if applicable, are the responsibility of the receiver and are not included in our pricing.

We recommend checking with your local customs authority if you’d like more information about potential fees.

Please select your Franca Studio piece carefully as returns, exchanges or refunds are only offered for items that arrive broken or damaged.

Your order includes:
• 1 x 3D Printed Wall Light Shade
• 1 x Back Plate
• 1 x CE-Certified G9 Bulb Holder (supplied separately and unassembled)

Installation & Important Information:
The back plate is designed to attach directly to your wall or mounting surface using appropriate fixings via the supplied holes. Please note that fixings are not included, as you will need to choose the most suitable type for your wall material (e.g. masonry or plasterboard screws).

A light bulb is not included. We recommend using LED G9 bulbs only, which are widely available – for example, through Beacon Lighting in Australia.

This product is not sold as a complete electrical item. Final assembly and installation are the responsibility of the customer and must be carried out by a licensed electrician.

As each light is made to order we often have lead times of between 2-3 weeks. If you have an urgent order please send us an email at info@francastudio.com.au and we might be able to expedite your order.

Our lamp shades are crafted from 100% Polylactic Acid (PLA) — a biodegradable thermoplastic derived from renewable, plant-based resources such as corn starch and sugar cane.

PLA is known for its low environmental impact compared to traditional petroleum-based plastics. It offers a lightweight yet durable structure, making it ideal for 3D printing and perfectly suited to our lighting designs.

As a bio-based material, PLA contributes to reduced carbon emissions and supports a more sustainable manufacturing process. While it is not suitable for high-heat applications, it performs exceptionally well in indoor lighting when used in accordance with our design and installation guidelines.
